CEO of AmeriGas’ parent company to retire in 2013

Lon R. Greenberg intends to retire as CEO of UGI Corp. in the spring of 2013, the parent company of AmeriGas Propane announced. Greenberg will continue to serve UGI as nonexecutive chairman of its board of directors. He will also continue to serve as nonexecutive chairman of the boards of directors of AmeriGas Propane and UGI Utilities Inc. John L. Walsh, UGI’s president and COO, will become president and CEO of UGI upon Greenberg’s retirement, the company says.
