Ceres loading propane railcars for Elbow River
Ceres Global Ag Corp. entered into an agreement with Elbow River Marketing Ltd., a subsidiary of Parkland Fuel Corp., to load and store natural gas liquids at its Northgate Commodity Logistics Center. Ceres, which owns 1,500 acres of land at Northgate, Saskatchewan, Canada, has already begun loading propane railcars at Northgate for Elbow River, with a total of 44 railcars loaded in April.
The agreement between Ceres and Elbow River includes the loading of propane from truck to railcars for shipment to the United States market via the BNSF railway from Northgate. Patrick Bracken, CEO of Ceres, says the company plans to work closely with Elbow River toward securing long-term NGL loading commitments.
