Cloud-based software, hardware system assists fleet owners

Convoy Technologies designed Videomatics, a cloud-based software and hardware system, for fleet owners and managers to assist in their efforts to promote commercial driver safety and productivity. The system can be accessed on a smartphone, tablet or PC. Videomatics provides instant access to vehicle location tracking, monitoring and alerts, along with live and historical video with analytics from within and surrounding a vehicle. The system includes a digital video recorder, an in-cab display monitor and up to 16 video cameras for inside or outside the cab. A motion detection sensor allows control of thresholds, area exclusions and the sensing of a motion in a precise field of view.
