Commercial generator features compact footprint

Kohler Generators introduced a new 60-kilowatt light commercial generator, the 60RCL, which features a compact footprint and neighborhood-friendly sound levels, the company says. A three-fan, automotive-style cooling system contributes to the normal-conversation-level sound, the company says. According to Kohler, the generator is ideal for businesses and retail centers that rely on critical power. It’s also suitable for larger homes with greater power needs, the company adds – especially those in warmer climates with high air-conditioning demands. The 60RCL is designed to automatically turn on within seconds of a power outage. Its 5.7-liter, 1,800-rpm engine runs on LP gas or natural gas.
