Compressor system offers faster recycle times

Parafour developed the Eco-Air Gen-2 as an update to its first-generation system. The Eco-Air Gen-2 provides about 50 percent faster recycle times and 80 percent more actuator operations between compressor cycles, the company says. It features a two-piston compressor, a NEMA 4X poly enclosure, a standard 1-gallon aluminum air receiver and an option for a 2-gallon high-capacity reservoir. The system helps to reduce the recurrent cost of nitrogen cylinders and the high cost of running out. It also eliminates the release of hydrocarbons and the risk of pressure loss with lower ambient temperatures. The system includes a low-operating-cost option of pressurized air to operate internal valves and emergency shutdown valves.
