Conger LP Gas, Short & Paulk to host South Georgia Home Showcase

February 5, 2019 By

Conger LP Gas and Short & Paulk Supply Co. will host the second annual South Georgia Home Showcase Feb. 11-12 in Tifton, Georgia, at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center. According to organizers, the event will feature more than 100 home improvement and propane equipment manufacturers.

A private event for contractors, architects and plumbers will be held on Feb. 11, featuring continuing education courses and one-on-one time with the exhibitors and manufacturers.

On Feb. 12, the South Georgia Home Showcase will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Attendees can visit exhibitors on the show floor and register to win more than $20,000 in door prizes. There also will be demonstrations from special celebrity guests, including Lauri Jo Bennett of Lauri Jo’s Southern Style Canning, Southern Living magazine’s garden lifestyle expert Carmen Johnston and celebrity chef Chip Reed. Tours of the University of Georgia Future Farmstead, a net-zero energy house, will also be available.

“This will be our second year partnering with Short & Paulk Supply Company for this event,” says Conger LP Gas President and CEO Dan Richardson. “We’ve worked hard over the last 12 months to make our second year even bigger and better than the first. Our cooking and home design demonstrations will be a new feature that everyone will enjoy. A common comment at last year’s inaugural home showcase was ‘We didn’t know Conger LP Gas could do all of those things.’ Come by our booth and let us show you all the different ways propane can fuel your life.”

“We are building on last year’s event,” says Short & Paulk Supply Co. President Jay Short. “The UGA Conference Center in Tifton is the perfect place to host a showcase like this. At Short & Paulk, we are always supplying the products that build dreams. If you’re planning on building or remodeling, this is an event you don’t want to miss.”

Attendees can preregister online for free here. Registration at the door on the day of the event will be $10 per person. All door proceeds will be donated to the Ruth’s Cottage and the Patticake House Building Fund.
