G&B Energy held its 32nd annual Irons in the Fire golf event earlier this year at North Carolina’s Cedarbrook Country Club. The outing, which drew more than 150 golfers and volunteers, raised $50,000 for the Yadkin Valley United Fund, which benefits nonprofits and provides scholarships to students.

Nexio, a Houston manufacturer of trucks and engines for commercial vehicles, teamed with BeGas, a Basque manufacturer of autogas engines for commercial vehicles, to develop bioLPG trucks in the United States. Conger LP Gas opened a new location in Valdosta, Georgia, and President and CEO Dan Richardson was equipped and ready to cut the ribbon. The company now has five locations throughout south Georgia.
