Ferrellgas promotes director of Total Rewards

Ferrellgas promoted Tracy Thomas to the director of its Total Rewards program.

Thomas most recently served as the company’s Interim Rewards manager, where she oversaw the benefits and compensation departments.

According to the company, Thomas has held multiple roles in her 26-plus years of experience at Ferrellgas, including within payroll, its human resources information system, and compensation.

In her new role, Thomas will set the strategy and lead execution of Ferrellgas’ Total Rewards program administration, which includes ensuring employee compensation and benefits programs are competitive to industry standards, Ferrellgas says.

The program aims to both attract and retain its employees. Thomas will oversee Ferrellgas’ health and welfare offerings, tuition reimbursement, parental leave and more, according to the company.
