Fill valve lock prevents unauthorized fills

May 6, 2020 By

Lock America’s fill valve lock helps propane suppliers keep competitors out of their tanks, says the company. Over the past year, operators who do not control their customer tanks have used the lock to enforce their customer auto-fill contracts. Auto-fill contracts are a win-win proposition, says Lock America: The supplier can project its deliveries and purchases, while the customer can be assured of enough propane. Because the lock prevents unauthorized fills, customers have to comply with the contract. Constructed with chromed brass and a tamper- and weather-resistant keyway, the lock repels human and climate intrusion. Each propane supplier receives its own key code keyed alike to an unlimited number of valve locks, so drivers need just one key. Other company locks can be keyed to the same code for greater convenience, according to Lock America.
