Front-delivery bobtail facilitates safe maneuvering

October 4, 2019 By

Westmor’s front-delivery bobtail was designed to address customer concerns of backing into unfamiliar locations. With the new product concept, even if drivers have to turn around or back out of a location, they can understand the risk of personal injury or damage to the customer’s property before any additional maneuvering. Benefits of the design include a tighter turning radius for propane delivery to residential or agricultural locations, says the company. A driver also takes fewer steps when servicing a location with the equipment at the front of the bobtail. The vehicle includes an in-cab register and printer, and customers have the option of adding a 360-degree camera and obstacle detection system to further reduce the risk of backing collisions.
