January 31, 2019 By

Garsite Progress, an entity formed by AFI Partners, acquired Garsite and Progress Tank, manufacturers in the aircraft refueling and truck-mounted tank industries, from Wabash National Corp.

Garsite is a manufacturer of aircraft refuelers, hydrant dispensers and fueling equipment for in-to-plane fueling companies, oil companies, airlines, freight distribution companies and fuel marketers.

Progress Tank manufactures truck-mounted tanks used in several industries, including propane. It offers national distribution, service and support of its core product line through some of the largest chassis dealers in the country, including Rush Truck Centers, Truck Country and M&K.

“Garsite and Progress have a combined history of 160 years of experience as the industry leaders in both aviation refueling and liquid waste equipment manufacturing,” says E.J. Antonio, managing partner of AFI Partners. “This partnership marks a significant opportunity for Garsite and Progress to focus and accelerate on core competencies, including customer service, quality and an increased distribution platform.”
