Gas Equipment Co. opens new location in Minnesota
Gas Equipment Co. (GEC) opened its newest location in Mankato, Minnesota.
The new sales office and warehouse, which will serve Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, will continue to broaden access to equipment and provide better support for customers in the region.
The Mankato branch will offer a comprehensive range of equipment and parts for LPG, NH3 and industrial gas.

Among the team members at the new location are:
- Travis Peek, customer service manager, who previously worked as a branch manager and parts manager.
- Brenda Hansen, customer service representative, who has an extensive customer service background in similar industries.
- Jacob Sonnek, warehouse clerk, with three years of previous warehouse experience.
Each team member has undergone training on GEC practices and equipment to ensure they are fully prepared to meet the needs of local customers.
A grand opening celebration is set to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mankato branch. Customers are encouraged to attend to meet the Minnesota team, tour the new branch location and enjoy food, drinks and prizes. The branch is located at 2351 N. GEC is a warehouse distributor of in-process, transfer and control equipment for oil and gas producers, transporters and LPG marketers. The company was established in 1937 in Dallas by Milt LaDue.
