La Nuvola – Roma Convention Center, an iconic building in Italy’s capital city, will host this year’s WLPGA events in a region of the world widely perceived as a global leader in addressing environmental issues and driving innovation of renewable energy sources. In addition, Italy is a global manufacturing and innovation hub for the LPG industry, playing a key role in equipment production and global autogas markets, the WLPGA notes.

This year’s event will focus on the theme “Just Energy.” Event leaders say one of the greatest challenges today is ensuring that energy is clean, affordable, reliable and sustainable, and that all available resources are used to meet the challenges. During LPG Week 2023, which also features the World LPG Forum, attendees and speakers will discuss and explore the potential of LPG and renewable liquid gases and how they fit in a fair and just energy system.

Also during the week, attendees can attend summits, meetings, workshops, a global exhibition and social events to expand their networking and business opportunities. The conference sessions will be streamed on an online event platform.

LPG Week travels the globe annually, bringing together CEOs of major LPG companies, government ministers and representatives of major intergovernmental organizations and media, to explore the LPG business, discuss its growth potential and forge new business relationships.

The European Liquid Gas Conference gathers regional and global liquid gas industry leaders and decision-makers at one of Europe’s largest conferences and exhibitions.

Highlights of the local LPG market:

  • 1.7 million tons of LPG used for heating.
  • 28.5 million LPG cylinders.
  • 2.8 million LPG cars.
  • 4,500 LPG refueling points.
  • 1.7 million LPG tanks installed for customers.
