Growmark hosts propane terminal open house in South Dakota

Growmark hosted an open house that drew about 70 people to its upgraded propane terminal near Canton, S.D.

According to a press release, Growmark acquired the terminal from Magellan Pipeline Co. LP in 2013. The facility was upgraded and has been operational since January 2015.

Growmark says the upgraded terminal provides storage capacity of more than 300,000 gallons and the capability to fill two semi-truck tanks simultaneously. The terminal is adjacent to the BNSF railroad, and Growmark has upgraded the facility to allow for six railcars to unload at one time, with the opportunity to expand that to eight cars in the future.
