Hiab offers semi-automatic folding crane

Hiab loader crane safety and productivity have been improved with a new feature – semi-automatic folding (SAF). SAF makes it fast and easy for any operator to park the crane in a safe and controlled way, the company says. Both folding and unfolding can now be performed with a single control lever, rather than individually steering swing, tilt, lift and extension movements. SAF means less risk of damage to the crane body and hydraulics. And for all but the most experienced operators, it will mean time saved due to faster folding and unfolding of the crane, Hiab adds. SAF will be available as an add-on feature for both light and mid-range cranes most commonly used by propane marketers.
