Inergy purchases Pennington Gas

Inergy Propane LLC acquired Morenci, Mich.-based Pennington Gas Service, which delivers to nearly 15,000 customers from seven locations in Michigan and northwestern Ohio. Also, in a separate transaction, Inergy acquired the propane assets of Schenck Gas Services LLC, based in East Hampton, N.Y. Schenck delivers propane to nearly 2,000 customers from Montauk to East Hampton Bays.
