IPS designs cylinder evacuation systems

IPS’ cylinder evacuation systems eliminate the need to vent or flare propane cylinders. The systems recover 100 percent of the liquid and vapor propane and transfer it to the bulk storage tank. They can be designed to work with 20-pound, 33-pound, 100-pound or 420-pound cylinders and can also be modified to evacuate domestic tanks and bobtail tanks. The eight-place cylinder evacuation systems can evacuate up to 192 cylinders per day based on a six-hour workday. The average time per 20-pound cylinder is seven minutes. Domestic tank evacuation systems can evacuate up to 36 tanks per day. The average time per 500-gallon domestic tank is 20 minutes.
