Kenworth Sales Co. opened a new parts and service location in northern Utah, while Kenworth of Pennsylvania relocated one of its dealerships to better serve business growth.

Kenworth Sales Co. opened the parts and service location in Ogden, Utah. The location includes two buildings totaling 8,800 square feet, with a four-bay service department and a 5,400-square-foot parts department. According to Kenworth, the facility will host a grand opening celebration May 4.

“The Ogden location greatly enhances service coverage for our northern Utah customers,” says Kyle Treadway, Kenworth Sales Co. dealer principal, in a press release. “It also makes it easier for truck drivers passing through the area and northern Utah businesses to more conveniently reach the parts and service support they need locally.”

Kenworth of Pennsylvania relocated a parts and service location in York, Pa., to a facility one block west of its previous location.

“Since we first opened the York location three years ago, we have seen a significant increase in our parts and service business,” says Tim Mitchell, president of Motor Truck Equipment, the parent company of Kenworth of Pennsylvania, in a press release. “As a result, we’ve quickly outgrown the York dealership.”

Mitchell says the new location will provide customers with a larger parking lot, making it easier for truck drivers to maneuver in and out of the facilities. The facility nearly doubles the old one at 9,000 square feet. It also offers six service bays and driver amenities, including a premium driver’s lounge, shower and Wi-Fi.
