Midland mourns passing of sales manager

Midland Manufacturing is mourning the death of Larry Mungiole, 62, the company’s Northeast regional sales manager. He passed away on Dec. 8 following a two-year battle with cancer. Mungiole joined Midland in 1998 after more than 30 years with specialty chemical manufacturers Rohm & Haas, FMC and Arkema in their logistics departments before moving into sales. At Midland, he advanced to the position of Northeast regional sales manager with sales responsibilities for the entire East Coast market. Mungiole, who was raised in South Philadelphia and lived in Northeast Philadelphia at the time of his death, is survived by his wife, Susan; sons Matthew and Christofer; daughter Serena; mother Doris; brother Arthur; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Dec. 11 in Yeadon, Pa.
