Manufacturer of RegO products acquired

Windjammer Capital Investors has acquired Elon, N.C.-based Engineered Controls International (ECI), which manufactures a range of flow control valves and regulators that are sold under the RegO brand name. Windjammer partnered with a private equity firm and ECI’s management team to acquire the company from Sentinel Capital Partners. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. According to Thom Farrell, president and CEO of ECI, the move should help expand the brand into China and other global markets.
