MFA Oil names director of mergers, acquisitions

MFA Oil Co. hired Don Smith to be its director of mergers and acquisitions. Smith’s responsibilities include deal sourcing, business valuations, negotiations and post-sale integration of business acquisitions. Smith has more than 25 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, he served as CEO of Midwest M&A Advisors, an acquisitions consulting firm he founded in 2012.
