Michigan Propane Gas Association hosts safety awareness event

The Michigan Propane Gas Association (MPGA) hosted Propane Safety Awareness Day.

Each year the association, along with the Michigan Propane Education & Research Council (MIPERC) and industry members, meet in Lansing, Michigan, and visit with state legislators and staff members to explain the issues MPGA sees as critical to the propane industry.

According to Derek Dalling, executive director of the state association, MPGA leadership believes this is the single best event MPGA and MIPERC do every year for the industry.

The event included safety demonstrations, while autogas vehicles and other products were on display on the capitol lawn.
