Mid-delivery bobtail reduces backup risks

Westmor has designed and engineered a new, unique way of delivering propane – from behind the cab of a bobtail. The option was designed to maximize driver efficiency by allowing propane delivery off either side of the bobtail using the inverted multi-wrap hose reel. This type of propane delivery system allows the driver to deliver propane regardless of the location of the customer’s tank and in some cases delivery to multiple residential locations without moving the truck. Other benefits of the mid-delivery design include less backing up and fewer steps for the driver. The equipment is all located in or next to the cab. Customers also have the option of adding a 360-degree camera and obstacle detection system to further reduce the risk of backing collisions.
