NPGA names coordinator of industry affairs
Connie Womack joined the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) as coordinator of industry affairs.
Womack will assume daily management of ACE Services, an NPGA program that helps propane marketers with entry-level driver training requirements, including filing paperwork and submitting information to the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). ACE Services is growing to serve the propane industry and other members of the on-road community, says NPGA.
Womack’s daily management of ACE Services enables Andrea Pavon, membership coordinator, to travel to state and regional association meetings, as well as non-propane industry seminars, to present the advantages of ACE Services in assisting companies with new driver recruitment.
Womack joins NPGA after working at FMCSA for 17 years. During her tenure, she worked across departments to manage information for consumers. Womack also worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, assisting applicants who have been impacted by disasters and in need of assistance, and performing intake and support to individuals from across the U.S.
“As I begin my new journey with the National Propane Gas Association, I am eager to consistently learn about propane and how we make use of it daily,” says Womack. “I am also interested in learning how our customers must be in compliance to receive their full potential in order to be in operation. I know that safety is key, and learning the various processes is of interest. I am excited as I continue this journey. I know that I will be able to continue honing my skills and learning something new from my leader and fellow team members.”
