NYPGA executive director announces retirement

Barbara Roach, the New York Propane Gas Association’s (NYPGA) executive director, plans to retire at the end of August.

Roach served as NYPGA’s executive director for more than 10 years. She developed procedures to administer various programs for the association, such as the Certified Employee Training Program, emergency response training and Propane Education & Research Council funding.

Shane Sweet, who joined NYPGA in November as executive/technical director, will replace Roach as the association’s executive director.
