Onyx offers propane conversion kits

Onyx Systems manufactures near-zero-emission propane conversion kits for John Deere Gator utility vehicles, benefiting operators with lower fuel costs, ultra-low emissions and increased productivity, according to Onyx. The propane conversion kits are certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board. An engine running on propane runs cleaner and requires less fuel system maintenance, and a side-mounted, 20-pound propane cylinder offers 10-plus hours of runtime and faster acceleration, according to Onyx. The kits fit TX and HPX John Deere Gators manufactured after 2015 and are available for installation at participating John Deere dealers.
