PERC joins association to promote propane to colleges, universities

The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is now a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), which, according to a press release, is an association made up of colleges and universities working to create a more sustainable world. As an AASHE member, PERC plans to educate higher education institutions about the benefits of using propane equipment as part of their sustainability initiatives. Specifically, PERC plans to help campuses identify opportunities to convert gasoline- or diesel-fueled equipment to propane, including lawn mowers, vehicles, buses and generators.
