Propane-fueled equipment will be on display at the Husker Harvest Days farm show, set for Sept. 10-12 in Grand Island, Neb. The Nebraska Propane Gas Association will display several propane-fueled irrigation engines at its booth, No. 550, including an Origin 8.0-liter engine, a Power Systems Integration 8.8-liter model from Husker Power Products and a Ford Power Products’ 6.8-liter model from Anderson Industrial Engines. An 8.0-liter model from Origin was installed on the show’s demo field in July. Purchase incentives are available through the Propane Education & Research Council ($400 per liter of engine displacement, up to $5,000) and the Nebraska Propane Gas Association ($750). In addition, a propane-autogas-fueled Ford F-250 with the Roush CleanTech fuel system, a Generac portable propane generator and a Rinnai tankless propane water heater will be on display at the show.
