Propane tank straps secure cylinders during transport

Tank Ties LLC of Round Rock, Texas, released the first in a series of specialty propane tank straps. The Tank Tie includes a set of custom snap hooks designed to enable easy connection of 20-pound and 30-pound propane cylinders to the transport vehicle’s cargo hooks or rear-seat child car seat connection points. When using the snap hook option, the strap is designed to self-tighten under load to minimize movement on the wall of the tank. The strap also provides an option for seat-based transportation, leveraging the vehicle’s standard driver-side or passenger-side seat belts. Once installed, the strap is intended to stay with the propane tank, eliminating the need for separate connection devices or methods.
