Propane truck-building company changes ownership

February 25, 2015 By

Keehn Service Corp., a fabrication and service company that serves the propane industry, is now under new ownership. Jonathan Willard, whose father, Richard, and grandfather, Dick, owned the company before him, takes over as a co-owner and as president. Stephen Kovacic is also a co-owner and the company’s vice president. Kovacic has been the company’s full-time engineer since 2006 and has worked for the company since the early 1990s.

According to a press release, Bill Keehn incorporated Keehn Service in the late 1960s. Dick Willard joined him, adding propane transport repair and modifications to the new company. In 1985, Bill Keehn and Dick Willard sold the company to their sons, Butch Keehn and Richard Willard, and two additional Keehn employees, Rod Seibert and Bill Robb.
