Ray Energy Corp. rail and truck terminal opens in New York
Ray Energy Corp. held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its recently opened rail and truck terminal in Hampton, New York. The event attracted 100 propane professionals, community leaders and lawmakers.
The propane supplier’s new 21-acre facility can store up to 820,000 gallons of propane and will free up more supply in regions where it’s needed, says Ray Energy Corp.
“The lesson that we learned from last winter is that supply and transportation are still big challenges for our industry, and one of the ways that this new terminal will help – the Hampton terminal – is in terms of brining in a major new source of propane supply,” says Stephen L. Heffron, Ray Energy Corp.’s vice president of marketing.
