Suburban Propane highlights propane’s versatility at Dover Motor Speedway Fan Zone

Suburban Propane participated at Dover Motor Speedway from July 18-20, powering the Fan Zone with an interactive display fueled entirely by propane.
As the Official Propane Partner of NASCAR and Speedway Motorsports, the company presented its walk-through exhibit and featured The Vettro, a food truck built on a C8 Corvette chassis. The Vettro is currently seeking a Guinness World Record as the world’s fastest food truck, as part of Suburban Propane’s efforts to highlight propane as a reliable energy solution.
Visitors to the Fan Zone observed various applications of propane in race-day activities, including tailgating, RV power, mobile EV charging, generators and off-grid solutions. The Suburban Propane exhibit operated on a propane generator. Additionally, propane track dryers were used on Saturday to help reduce rain delays and maintain the race schedule.

“The energy and enthusiasm from NASCAR fans in Dover was truly inspiring and propane was at the center of it all,” says Nandini Sankara, vice president of marketing and brand strategy at Suburban Propane. “From powering the concessions and drying the track and fueling fan lifestyles, this weekend perfectly illustrated the many ways propane supports the NASCAR experience. We’re proud to be part of this incredible community and grateful for our ongoing partnership with NASCAR and Speedway Motorsports.”
The Suburban Propane team interacted with thousands of attendees over the weekend, responding to questions, distributing branded merchandise and highlighting the role of propane in supporting both race day activities and daily living.
