Price risk management firm Synergy Commodity hired Jordan Manchester as a commodity analyst.

Prior to joining Synergy, Manchester worked at Sprague Operating Resources as a refined commodities analyst.

He has also worked as an analyst for Star Group and a staff accountant at Tech Air. Before entering the energy industry, he had worked as a construction project manager for WWW MC Construction.

“We are thrilled to have Jordan join the Synergy team,” say Taylor Hudson and Aviral Chopra, Synergy’s principals. “His background experience in our industry and alignment with our focus on improving client business performance will improve our offering and continue our growth.”

Manchester is a native of Bristol, Connecticut, and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree from Sacred Heart University.

“I’m excited about helping resellers procure commodities more efficiently,” Manchester says. “We’re giving them the institutional knowledge and skills they need to capitalize on market opportunities and stop leaving money on the table.”

Hudson and Chopra launched Synergy Commodity in 2021 to provide procurement data and support to resellers and bulk users of propane and distillates. With knowledge in supply, trading and marketing, it also provides custom procurement services designed to meet each client’s needs, according to the company.
