Tank Utility to release dashboards at NPGA convention

Tank Utility will launch efficiency and benchmarking dashboards, an extension of the company’s solution that includes hardware, software and a customer-facing mobile app along with marketing services, at the 2018 NPGA Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo.

After the launch at the 2018 NPGA Southeastern Convention and International Propane Expo, the dashboards will become available to customers.

The efficiency dashboard automatically computes and pushes reports to propane marketers on drop size, operating efficiency and missed savings per tank. The dashboard will compare numbers to historical data from past business performances, the company adds.

Tank Utility leverages machine learning to make real-time recommendations on customer tanks where propane delivery efficiency can be improved, providing real-time insight into the most and least efficient customer tanks and accounts, according to the company.

The benchmarking dashboard also enables suppliers to compare their propane delivery efficiency and average drop size based on past delivery history with that of other suppliers. The company says this provides a real-time ranking among other suppliers.

“The problem with many tank monitoring solutions today is that they create a lot of data but they don’t deliver it to you in a way that makes it easy for real-time and long-term decisions,” says Amos Epstein, CEO of Tank Utility. “We wanted to change that at Tank Utility. With the launch of our efficiency and benchmarking dashboards, we deliver actionable insight into the hands of our customers so they can improve operational efficiency today and long term.
