Texas company purchasing PetroLogistics

Flint Hills Resources LLC agreed to acquire PetroLogistics LP, a propylene producer that, according to a press release, owns and operates the only propane dehydrogenation plant in the United States, for about $2.1 billion.

According to the same press release, Flint Hills Resources is a refining, chemicals and biofuels company with operations primarily in Texas and the Midwest.
