Vehicles to motor through Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, part of autogas parade

Forty-six vehicles have been confirmed for the Propane Clean Air Rally and Autogas Parade, scheduled for noon on April 14 in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, preceding the 2012 NPGA Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo, organizers of the Propane Centennial Celebration announced. Vehicle staging gets under way at 9 a.m.

Of the 46 vehicles, 34 are Guinness World Record eligible, meaning they must be licensed on-road vehicles. Confirmed for the event are four mowers, 13 pick-up trucks, four police vehicles, two golf carts, two bobtails, five vans, five forklifts, five passenger vehicles, two commercial trucks, one muscle car, one dragster, one go-cart and one school bus. The rally will feature the vehicle staging and parade of propane autogas vehicles, as well as ride-and-drives, demonstrations and a press conference.
