Vertrax deploys sonar for tank monitoring service

Vertrax’s tank monitoring service deploys sonar technology to measure the tank liquid level and then derives a percent-full figure. According to Vertrax, this technology can read tanks of any age or condition. Liquid level data is transmitted via a LAN connection to ensure consistent delivery, says the company. The Vertrax app provides marketers and customers inventory management and usage analytics. Customers can also place will-call orders from Amazon Alexa or Vertrax apps. Additionally, the tank monitoring unit has a lifetime battery capacity, says Vertrax.
