Virtual Propane Expo adds project development manager

January 6, 2021 By

Mary Rachel Keyser joined Virtual Propane Expo (VPE) to assist with its project development and industry outreach.

Keyser will work with VPE founders to engage presenters and interviews for coming VPE sessions. She will also work on a number of VPE projects, including its e-commerce solution for propane industry companies as well as the recently launched VPE Propane Education & Training series.

Regular VPE session days have been held every month since April 2020, including feature presentations and interviews with vendors relevant to the propane industry, as well as presentations by trade associations and nonprofits with topics relevant to propane.

VPE recently began offering online education and training sessions for a nominal fee, beginning with an eight-hour propane emergencies refresher class and a 2 1/2-hour cylinder inspection class. At press time, a dozen other class offerings are in the works, according to VPE.

Keyser, a Vermont native, was raised in the family oil and propane business and has extensive experience in the heating oil and propane industries. She started her career working at National Oilheat Research Alliance and most recently worked as the customer service manager for a multi-fuel multi-state marketer based in the Northeast.

VPE continues to seek presenter and interview slots for scheduled dates.
