April 2, 2009 By

This year’s World LP Gas Forum, scheduled for Oct. 7-9 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is expected to draw 700 attendees and hundreds of additional visitors from more than 50 countries.

Propane plays an important role in Latin American markets. In Brazil, more than 80 percent of its propane demand is used in domestic applications. The 22nd World LP Gas Forum aims to move the propane industry to a new level of business expansion.

The forum promises an opportunity for networking with leaders in the propane industry from across the globe, and for expanding business internationally. In addition to the multitude of business opportunities, the World LP Gas Forum also hosts a variety of educational sessions on topics including propane industry leaders’ visions, the global and regional outlook for propane, production technologies and new applications, the role of propane in sustainable development, and best industry practices. Each session will host a series of industry speakers from countries around the world.
