Worthington Enterprises level-sensing technology
Worthington Enterprises’ SureSense propane level-sensing technology is designed to increase the reliability of tank level readings. SureSense, developed by Rochester Sensors, is first available in Worthington’s 420-pound heating and system tanks. The technology eliminates moving parts inside the tank and provides a more reliable level reading of the propane remaining in the tank. Using a Bluetooth low-energy signal, SureSense delivers precise readings directly to a monitor without using cables that are easily damaged in the field, according to the company. SureSense also helps propane marketers eliminate the result of inaccurate readings: costly customer runouts and operational inefficiencies, Worthington adds.
