Update on cylinder requalification
The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has formally accepted the National Propane Gas Association's (NPGA) petition for rulemaking to return the cylinder requalification period to 12 years for Department of Transportation-specification cylinders, NPGA reports. NPGA says the action only initiates the rulemaking process and is not a final rule.
