Longtime Jomar Valve employee dies

Dan Blake, a longtime employee of Jomar Valve, died June 25. He was 66.

Blake worked with Jomar for about 40 years, traveling the country to call on customers. Jomar says he served as both a colleague and a mentor to many people at the company. The company describes Blake as having a friendly, straightforward demeanor.

Contributions can be donated in honor of Blake to the Wounded Warrior Project. A funeral service will take place 12:30 p.m. July 17 at the Elks 2495 Lodge in Sarasota, Fla.
