Ray Murray Inc. acquires hearth products distributor

Ray Murray Inc., a propane equipment distributor, acquired Best & Langston Inc., a hearth, heating and leisure products distributor based in Goldsboro, N.C.

Through the acquisition, Best & Langston will operate as a division of Ray Murray. Best & Langston will continue to service customers from its Goldsboro location.

Ray Murray says it hired all of Best & Langston’s employees after the acquisition. John Langston will serve as the general manager of Ray Murray’s Best & Langston division.

According to Ray Murray, the company now has more than 80 employees. The company says the addition of Best & Langston makes it one of the largest hearth, grill, propane and compressed gas equipment wholesale distributors in the United States.
