Angus Energy, Technology Assistance Group team up

Risk management service provider Angus Energy acquired Technology Assistance Group (TAG) with the goal of leveraging their resources to bring the benefits of better information and better processes to the petroleum distribution industry. Angus Energy began providing hedging services in 1991 and now has 600 energy companies as clients, including propane distributors. It was founded to help oil companies offer capped prices to their customers, but it now offers a diverse range of products and services, including price protection on propane. TAG has been supplying business performance management solutions to all verticals of the downstream petroleum industry since 2000.
