Attorney shares case examples with propane professionals

John Hansen, partner at McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC, stresses the importance of propane retail operations having a crisis communication plan. Hansen gave an extensive safety presentation at the Propane Education & Research Council’s 2019 National Safety & Trainer’s Conference, which took place Jan. 9-10 in San Antonio, Texas.

Hansen also gives insight into the “reptile theory,” which suggests prosecutors can prevail at trial by installing fear in the jurors’ brains, as well as hammers out the difference between an “out of gas” situation vs. an “interruption in service.”
