Autogas fuel tank made to fit in vehicle’s spare tire space

Worthington Industries developed a doughnut-shaped autogas fuel tank that fits in the spare tire space of a car or pickup truck. According to Worthington, the tank is American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) approved. In fact, the company says eight models of the tank are ASME certified. Worthington anticipates the tanks’ diversity will provide an opportunity for more vehicles to convert to autogas. Specifically, the company says the tanks are ideal for vehicles with large-capacity cargo needs, such as taxi fleets.
