More than 250 people attended Cargas Energy Systems’ annual Energy Summit last month at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the company says.

Those who attended the event had the opportunity to attend product feedback sessions; presentations about how customers can better leverage technology to grow their businesses; customer-led sessions during which customers taught each other about industry software and best practices; and Cargas-led hands-on labs and training sessions.

“The theme of the conference was community,” says Nate Scott, Cargas Systems president. “It’s where we could all come together – Cargas employees, customers, and partners – to help each other become more successful. Building our community of customers and partners and supporting the local community in Lancaster was important to us.”

During the event, the company recognized eight customers and two partners for being “community champions.” According to Cargas, these individuals and companies went out of their way to educate other customers about the capabilities of the Cargas Energy solution.

“We’re excited about the momentum and thrilled to see our Cargas Energy business and this event growing,” Scott says. “The success of this year’s summit confirms we’re fulfilling a real need for our customers. Our customers appreciate us listening to them and our commitment to building and perfecting technology that will help them succeed.”

Cargas Energy Systems is an employee-owned business software and consulting company specializing in Cargas Energy mobile and back office software for fuel delivery and HVAC service companies, Intacct cloud accounting, Microsoft Dynamics and custom software solutions.
