CleanFuel USA director announces retirement

Mike Merwarth, CleanFuel USA’s director of dispenser infrastructure, retired from the company earlier this year.

According to CleanFuel USA, Merwarth began his career in the alternative fuel industry about 50 years ago, working in the propane and natural gas segments. Merwarth served as a key member of the CleanFuel USA team that helped to develop the propane autogas market. He worked as a technical consultant and interdisciplinary liaison for propane autogas infrastructure projects in the United States, Africa, India, the Caribbean and Central America.

During his retirement, Merwarth wants to get more involved in his ministry at CrossBridge Community Church in San Antonio, and he hopes to work as a voluntary construction lead with Strategic Alliance, building tiny houses to help people in Reynosa, Mexico.
