Event promotes autogas to West Texas

The Propane Council of Texas hosted a propane autogas promotional event July 23 to educate fleet operators, landscapers and agribusinesses in West Texas. The event took place at the American Wind Power Center & Museum in Lubbock, Texas.

Among the industry representatives who attended were Bill Van Hoy, executive director of the Texas Propane Gas Association; Franz Hofmann, president of Gearhead Consulting LLC and former lead automotive instructor for the Alternative Energy Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas. Representatives from Pinnacle Propane, Schiller Bob Cat and Ferris Industries were also present to display autogas mowers and trucks during a ride-and-drive session.
