Ferrellgas names 14 scholarship recipients

Ferrellgas Partners LP provided scholarships to 14 college students this year.

We wish them the best of luck as they embark on this exciting new chapter of their lives.”

For 30 years, the Ferrellgas Scholarship Program has provided funds to the dependent children of employees of Ferrellgas and the Blue Rhino propane tank brand. To date, the company has awarded more than 200 scholarships to students.

The scholarship program is a part of the company’s environmental, social and governance initiatives. Referred to as the Ferrellgas Century Project, the company has pledged support to multiple initiatives through 2039, when the company marks 100 years in business.

Earlier this year, Ferrellgas rejoined the National Propane Gas Association after about five years with no affiliation to the industry’s Washington, D.C.-based trade group. In 2021, the company completed a financial restructuring.

Ferrellgas is the nation’s second-largest propane retailer, according to LP Gas’ 2022 Top Propane Retailers ranking.
